T-ISS Release Hooks — PX01R, PX01B & PX-WHK
Woell Marine supplies the full T-ISS release hook range: the PX01R automatic liferaft release hook (SWL 35 kN), the PX01B manual rescue boat release hook (SWL 30 kN) and the heavy-duty PX-WHK40 / PX-WHK65 lifeboat release hooks (SWL 40 / 65 kN). All hooks are built from high-strength, corrosion-resistant steel and are marked with SWL and serial number for full traceability.
As of January 2026 the PX01R is approved for liferafts only and the PX01B for rescue boats and lifeboats only. The T-ISS Tri Hook Connection Plate is available as optional accessory to suspend and organise multiple hooks, tested to a Safe Working Load of 3,500 kg and compliant with SOLAS and the LSA Code.

The T-ISS Life Boat Hooks PX-WHK40 and PX-WHK65 are robust and sizable release hooks engineered to manage heavy lifeboats with ease. These hooks boast a safe working load (SWL) of 40 or 65 kilonewtons (kN), equating to weight capacities of approximately 3,200 kg for the PX-WHK40 and 4,100 kg for the PX-WHK65. Crafted specifically to accommodate large and weighty lifeboats, these hooks are equipped with a specially designed release mechanism for optimal functionality and safety.
